Awareness Through Movement
Awareness Through Movement (ATM) are group lessons of the Feldenkrais Method in which students are guided through a sequence of easy and gentle movements. By moving slowly and within a comfortable range, new possibilities become available to the nervous system and it is then possible to let go of less functional habits or patterns. By the end of a lesson, students are often surprised to find an increased sense of lightness and noticeable reduction of pain or discomfort. The learning which takes place during the ATM can then be felt in the increased efficiency of all movement - from everyday activities to high performance sports.
These lessons are for you if you’re looking for a new approach to movement that makes you feel validated in your experience and at the same time provides you with tools to relieve pain and move with ease. No previous experience is required. Classes will be held in English.
